My trip to Oklahoma was a whirlwind of graduations followed by a sweet wedding. Lots of memories were made and I am excited to announce that my baby brother is getting married! I'll be traveling to Oklahoma again next May (so if your in Oklahoma and will want a session, let me know!) until then enjoy some photos of my sister and brothers graduation, my soon to be sister in laws graduation and my already sister in laws wedding!
Talk about a gorgeous family? This is the 3rd time I have had the privilege to photograph this family and each time they look super sharp! They have style and are so much fun to work with! This little man turned 4 this year so we took some milestone photos at the Reservoir!
We risked being drenched by rain for these photos. Although we experienced a few sprinkles I am happy to report that no one was soaked and the rain held off just long enough for us to capture some beautiful photos of this sweet family.
I could seriously photograph sweet in hospital newborns everyday for the rest of my life and never grow tired of them. These sessions are the sweetest sessions and I can't get enough of them! Those tiny hands, sweet noses, and the new babe is just too much! These moments are incredibly short and fly by. Mommas and Dads are in a new season and exhausted and my goal with these photos is to make sure they have sweet visual aids to help them remember those fleeting moments.
It's always an honor to have returning clients. I photographed these folks for the first time last year and really enjoyed it! Both mom and poppa are visionaries and artistically gifted, they always have a vision for their families photos and I love collaborating to make it happen!
Also, for you coffee connoisseurs check out Sunergos Coffee. We are grateful for these folks, their friendship and their coffee. :)
Christmas Tree Farm Mini Sessions -- need I say more?
These were an absolute blast to shoot! I couldn't have asked for better clients or location! The Shelby Christmas Tree Farm and Nursery is a wonderful location to pick out your families tree! It's a fairly young farm and the owners were so kind. It was a joy to spend the day getting to know them and see their operation under way! They go above and beyond to make each customer feel like family! Looking forward to working with them again next year!
We loved being a part of this special day! It was a beautiful ceremony and Hannah and Seth were both so kind and absolutely in love with one another! It was such an honor to play a small part in this sweet union of these two people!
This family always picks one of the best dates for fall minis. I don't know how this momma does it, but she always picks a date that has some of the best fall colors! I also love that our sessions have always ended with the entire family in one big pile on the ground! They love to play and have fun and their photos are great evidence of the love that encapsulates them!
I just love these [three]. I met momma a few years ago, as both of our husbands are students at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and she and I worked on campus together in the library! She has been a kind blessing of the Lord and I am so grateful for our friendship.
In hospital newborn sessions are my jam. I love everything about them. The sweet cuddles, the sleepy eyes, the tiny hands, feet and toes. I love photographing these moments as they are fleeting quickly and these photographs help us remember those sweet moments. It's always such an honor to be invited into these moments.
You know its bound to be a fun session when your husband tells you how awesome the kids are you are about to meet and photograph. And he didn't lie, these kiddos and their parents were so much fun to photograph, I think you will see through our photographs that they each have such a fun and unique personality! I really enjoyed our time together.
We have known the Roosa family since we moved to Louisville. It's a joy to watch their family grow both in number and in height. They are a blast to photograph and always rock their photo sessions! I am happy to report that this year we were able to avoid the rain and the river ;) and everyone stayed dry for our session!
I couldn't have hoped for a better start to my fall minis this year. The weather was spot on, the light was gorgeous and this family was a blast!
These guys were such a joy to work with! They are so in love, with one another but also with their sweet little girl who is expected to arrive soon and it shows in every photo. This momma was glowing and the weather and the lighting was perfect.

Weddings are hard work but worth every ounce of it! I had such a good time photographing this sweet couples wedding earlier this year! The wind was powerful that day, so we had to improvise but it didn't stop us from capturing this beautiful day!
A huge thank you to my second shooter Hannah Reeves and my sweet husband who drove us around! I couldn't have done it without you two!
I love when my Oklahoma roots collide with the bluegrass state.
I love these guys. E V E R Y O N E of them.
-That is all, HM.
This sweet lady just finished the process of becoming a licensed real estate agent in the state of Kentucky and needed a head shot for her new business cards and website! She wanted a head shot that was professional but also was fun capturing her personality a bit!

Loved meeting this sweet family! So grateful they asked me to capture this sweet season in their families life.
I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy photographing these little friends! They are always so cooperative and are just adorable! I can't get enough of these two!
